This Sculptural Sterling silver Crocodile was initially inspired by the ancient African drawings of Benin.
The hours I spent working on it - brought into focus the work of the writer, explorer and photographer Peter Beard and his extraordinary and somewhat controversial writings and photographs of 20th century Africa.
Hand forged/fused Crocodile 2.5” long.
A drop of tanzanite “drips” from its mouth which hold a fish.
